Low km's, perfect service history and LPG for cheap fuel. This is the perfect road trip car and has never been a backpacker car before.

This is a genuinely great and solid car, which will be a brilliant buy for anyone  whether youre looking for an SUV to drive around town or take a road trip further afield, or both. A late model low kms R50, this 2004 Pathfinder ST is in fantastic condition and drives brilliantly. It started life as a NSW government car (rivers authority) so was serviced to government standards and then had a couple more owners before I bought it 1 year ago with a plan to drive from Sydney to Perth, which is exactly what weve done  and its never missed a beat.

Its much like any other Pathfinder, so comes complete with all mod cons. Electric windows and mirrors, remote central locking, cruise control, driver/passenger airbags, ABS, alloys, air-conditioning (re-fitted in 2014 for over $1500), brand new stereo/cd and fully adjustable velour seats. All the electrics work perfectly.

Its got the smooth 3.3v6 engine with a 5 speed (4 + overdrive) auto box, making long journeys pretty relaxed. It drives beautifully in any conditions. Most importantly its had an LPG conversion (serviced July 2015) which means you can look forward to 65c per litre from now on. Will save you thousands a year on fuel. The existing fuel tank remains  a button simply switches between the two tanks  also great for long distance trips.

As a result the spare tyre now lives on the Rhino Rack roof cage, another valuable accessory  plus there is also a Nissan fitted metal bumper/bull bar and cycle rack. Ive replaced 3 out of 4 tyres (with Hancocks all road tyres) and there is a decent quality spare.
In interests of honesty, there is a small dent in the rear bumper and a couple of scratches on the same side when someone in Bunnings decided to leave their mark on the car. All fixable for not much.

Ive owned the car for 12 months, during which time its been serviced 3 times. Once after purchase (full service and LPG service), the second time before leaving Sydney in March (full service and all belts replaced), the third time a full service in Darwin whilst on the way around the country to Perth. All records are provided plus most of the service history from previous owners.

The car also comes with loads of top quality camping and travel gear

- Coleman instant up tent (4person, worth $300)
- mattress, inflator, sheets and duvet
- camping stove and gas
- all pots, pans and kitchen things
- brand new tyre inflator/deflator/jack/puncture kit (none of this is used)
- table and chairs, lamps, head torches, tarpaulins

Honestly this is a great car and a great deal. This is not a usual backpacker car but a well looked after car, serviced regularly that can now take you on your trip around Australia.

Please give me a call to see the car.
