We had a question from Andreas about where are the best places to put your posters.

The answer is to find the biggest hostels and the largest group of fellow travellers in the city you are in!

In Sydney (where HCC is based) this basically is the area around central station and Kings X.

To help further, here is our recommended list of places to put your posters in Sydney:

Note: You should ask for a stamp and approval from each hostel reception before putting your ad up.

City Central (essential area)
Wake Up = 509 Pitt St
Central YHA = 11 Rawlson place
Raliway Square YHA = 8-10 Lee St

Pitt Street
Maze = 417 Pitt Street
Westend backpackers = 412 Pitt St

Kings X (essential area)
Great Aussie = 174 Victoria St
Original Backpackers = 162 Victoria St
Travellers Rest = 156 Victoria St
Chilli Blue = 144 Victoria St
Kanga House = 141 Victoria St
Eva's Backpackers = 6-8 Orwell St
Sydney Central = 16 Orwell St
Jolly Swagman = 27 Orwell St
Blue Parrott = 87 MacLeay St (continuation of Darlinghurst road)
D,lux Backpackers = 30 Darlinghust road
Pink House = Barncleuth square (1 block behind police station)
Backpackers Headquarters = 79 Bayswater road

Woolloomooloo
Sydney G'day backpackers = 153 Forbes Street
Harbour City = 50 Sir John Young Crescent

Glebe
Glebe Point YHA = 262 - 264 Glebe Point road
Glebe village backpackers = 254 - 258 Glebe point road

Bondi
Bondi Beachhouse YHA = 63 Fletcher Street
Surfside Bondi Backpackers = 35a Hall Street
Noahs Bondi Beach = 2 Campbell parade
Lamrock lodge = 19 Lamrock avenue

Coogee
Wizard of Oz = 172 Coogee bay road
Coogee Beachside = 178 Coogee bay road

It will take you at least 4 hours to cover these circuits (all) ... but it is well worth it, many people still browse the traditional notice boards for information and bargains.

If you don't put posters in the essential areas, you will limit your marketing and probably need to cut the sale price as you will get fewer callers.

Question from Dennis, seller of :

http://holidaycarclub.com/forum_au/index.php?topic=997.0

"Do you know a place, where we can print so many posters? (Internet cafes charge way too much per print)"

Answer: Print one page in the Internet cafe, then go to Officeworks, where you can photocopy for 6c a page!  Cool

You can find the nearest one to you here : http://www.nowwhere.com.au/ColesGroup/officeworks/default.aspx

Do you know of any other websites or noticeboards to sell around sydney, there seems to be a lot of ads in the hostels already, great list though!
